I figured id share a very humorous eye opening but not out of the fog experience with my pwBPDex to show you the irrationality of their thinking at times.

I am a singer i sing r&b, alternative rock, blues even some country i love music I have a nice voice and when i was at work i loved to sing along to the radio it got me through the day. MY ex and I were on the phone and i was singing that Maroon 5 song "This love"  Laugh out loud (click to insert in post) go figure.

she asked me to never sing in the presence of another woman because to her it was like i was singing to them, as weird as this request was i obliged because she said "me singing in the presence of another women is like her writing poetry for another man. She is an amazing writer ... .

any way i was singing and enjoying work and  our conversation... .

She asked me " are you alone" I said no Patricia here ... She replies oh your employee i said Yes ... .

She flipped on me I thought you said you was not going to sing for other women ... .

I said to her Patricia older then my mother so i am not singing for another women

She replies I don't care she could be a cougar I laughed but she was deadly serious ... .

She raged hung up the phone. She called me back 30 minutes later and apologized mainly because i didn't call her back immediately  like i always did she hung up and i said no i am not going to stop singing for anyone

i told her I sing for me not you and any other women it makes me happy

she tried to us this  control tactic on me again 2 years later in the same way i shut her down... .  I love to sing it makes me happy that's actually how i get through the days i sing I find music and it makes me happy moral of the story Stick to your guns in a positive way and i hope you guys got a little humor out of this.

i still chuckle when that memory slips in to my mind
