Feeling the Dark Side of the Force . . . .

A note came in the mail from the exBPDgf.  I hadn't heard anything for six months.  The note was very pleasant but one part concerned me which said ". . can't really remember why we didn't make it together".  Since the breakup, I've tried to be less analytical and more intuitive with my feelings toward how the whole mess ended.  I feel as if she's going to make an attempt to ~ me back into her life.  I'm not really tempted at this point but I don't want to even deal with her on any level.  Sending her a response to her note, positive or negative, seems like a mistake because it's at least "contact" with her.

Has anyone reading had an intended positive become a negative when it comes to contact after the r/s ended?

Yes. pretty much for everyone. thats why the relationships recycle... .  and a few months later the exact same story... .
