After 3.5 years of hell, separating me from my family and friends, and moving me across the country, she finally left. for good. I am so relieved I feel a weight has been lifted from me. There was no warning except the loss of yet another job. We were *fine* one day, and then the next she borrows money from her dad and takes off for California. I moved home within the week and am starting over. 3 years ago I had a home, a strong family, a decent car, a house full of furniture, up to date furnishings-tv/electronics, a city full of friends, A BANK ACCOUNT with a positive balance, and a good head on my shoulders. Now I have like 10 boxes of stuff and my pets. But you know what? I'm so happy, I'M SO HAPPY! We haven't been n/c, but I am working toward that because her recent texts indicate she is not doing so well and "misses" me. I am polite but distant. it has been 3-4 weeks.  If you are interested, here is my story... .   https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=127399.msg1253547#msg1253547  I have been unhappy for so long, but stayed thinking that without me she would drown in a sea of drugs and alcohol. But now- I KNOW if she does, it's not my fault. more details later, but I had forgotten this site for a bit and wanted to share. I have been in a bad bad place for a long time, but now I am going to rediscover my life. This makes me so happy!

Hi siggy

and welcome back! I am glad you feel relieved with the new situation!

Being polite and distant is a helpfull attitude toward her. I agree with you about perhaps recycle attempts... .  So be prepared and stay tuned, should this happen.

And enjoy it! Rediscover your life is great!  Smiling (click to insert in post)
