Hello BPD community
«

I was looking for a BPD meeting in my area and came across this website.
I am looking for support and education around this topic. I am the daughter of someone who has this. She has never been diagnosed but fits all of the characteristics.
I want to move on with my life but my childhood keeps haunting me.
I still have a relationship with my mom. The abuse and behavior is getting worse
as she gets older. I am here for support and to learn more about this.
thanks

Hi!
What sorts of things are holding you back? What do you find abusive with respect to your r/s with your mom?
Plenty of resources and support here. Welcome.

Hi there DeeCee!
You came to the right place for education and support! You are certainly not alone in this. My mom has BPD too, and so I really relate to feeling stuck in the past and wanting to move forward. There is so much information here to help you in your healing journey. This might be a good place to start:
Video-Tools to Reduce Conflict with a person suffering from BPD
How much contact do you have with your mom right now? Please go ahead and tell us more about your situation and yourself as you get comfy here. We've been in your shoes, and we know that you can heal. Sending you lots of caring and support.
