VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

I'm moving to another city today; ex is coming over to say goodbye... . recently found out about a spate of numerous betrayals... . cheating, lies to me, to others I know, manipulation (friends know little of our rltp.)... .

confront?  leave w/out seeing her? tell her not to come by.  feeling like a chump and hurt all over once again... .

Do you feel solid enough right now to see her without it creating some conflict?

I guess there's a few things I feel... .

a) the need for closure

b) the need to state how unfair all of this is to her

Yeah, I'm still upset but also tired, sick of all I've endured for months (post-relationship, being dumped, manipulated out of NC) ... . I'm just emotionally fatigued I guess and feel inadequate, unlovable, not whole... .

I understand the need for closure.  As you will find from the members here, it won't come from them, or anything you say to your pwBPD - it comes with time, and working through it with friends, therapy, our site, etc.

My guess is your meeting with her will not give you the closure you are looking for, and will only exacerbate your emotions.  Is this something you really want to do prior to moving?  Moving can be stressful enough, and to add that on top of everything might be a lot to manage.
