Just wanted to say 'Thank You' to all of you people on here who helped me during my worst and most dark

moments in my life.  I'm now going on 8 months of No Contact and I'm slowly, but surely getting my life back in order and feeling really better with myself and the past.  I couldn't have done it without all of the insight, wisdom, and experiences you all have shared.  There is soo much more out there to do, see, and experience other than what we have gone through in the past.  I've been working out like a maniac, lost weight, lowered my BP, spent more time with my family and friends, planning vacations... . its amazing what you find that life has to offer when you are not embroiled in daily drama and caretaking.   Getting through all of this requires self reflection, an assessment of yourself, and a plan for what you want the rest of your life to be like.  Thanks everyone.

Well said, SIG74.  Daily drama is exhausting!  I don't miss it after getting a divorce from my BPDexW.  Life is boring in a good way, and so much more peaceful.  I used to dread coming home after work, and now I look forward to it.  Just a small thing, but it makes a big difference.

Thanks for posting!  LuckyJim

Good for you, Scotisgone.

I can't wait to be at the place you are in your recovery. It is so great to hear you are enjoying things again, enjoying life! I wish you the best!
