Best partners for BPDs? Aspergers

Best partners for BPDs?  people with Aspergers!

I find this somewhat surprising.  You would think that people with BPD would require a brash, pushy individual that sets boundaries, but those types are actually seem to be the worst for them. 

Thoughts?  What personality do you think is best fit for a person with BPD?

Had a giggle when I first saw the headline. From a lot of what I read, a good fit for a BPD is someone who has and shows zero emotions. But then I think a BPD would get mad and feel that type a person doesn't communicate enough. That or they get bored of them really fast.

I think that someone with Aspergers being with a borderline would be like a lamb to the slaughter! I knew someone with Aspergers Syndrome and they were a very vulnerable person-couldn't read social cues, couldn't tell if people were being manipulative/trying to take advantage... . they were quite child-like and naive really.

I think that a narcissist would be the best fit for a person with BPD as they would be able to stand up for themselves and not take any nonsense plus both borderlines and narcissists like the thrill of the chase.

We watch "Big Bang Theory" and I always think Sheldon is the ultimate candidate for Aspberger's diagnosis (because he's not crazy - his mom had him tested).

I could just see him sitting at his computer while a BPD partner rages behind him and storming out of the apartment and him calmly, emotionlessly saying "Will you get the door on your way out?" then humming to himself, looking at his computer screen and saying "Now where was I?"  Bahahaha!

100% agreed. I would be absolutely mortified to see an Aspie with someone with BPD - after years of therapy, many still have difficulty with deciphering "normal" social cues, so what chance would they have with figuring out how to deal with a borderline? They are no where near equipped.  A better choice would be a narcissist for all of the above reasons.
