Dr. Phil - Selfish Mom

This may have been posted already here but I hadn't seen it. If this were my mother, no way she would have remained calm until the end... . at the outset she would have broken down sobbing about how hard she always tried. When that didn't work she would have raged, probably attack Dr. Phil and stormed off set. Feel so very sad for these ladies and understand what they want from their mom, it's the same thing I want. The part about taking the bed struck me as my mom, though she would never have done such a thing, also seems not to understand situations like that - an authority figure had given this woman the "right" to take the bed, and that seems her only way of comprehending the situation. In her mind, it's logical - never occurring to her that her child's needs and emotions fit in there somewhere. And same as my mom, most of what comes out of her mouth is a defense or a criticism.
