She's starting the turn around

Up to yesterday been NC with ex for 6 weeks since break up & she's pretty much behaved herself as far as NC goes. Yesterday I paid my ex some money owed to her & it was the last tie severed. I'm totally free of any obligations or connections to her!
She thoroughly devalued me in her final txt of the day after discovering my life moves on too & good things have started to happen to me. She seemed quite annoyed about that.
Later yesterday afternoon get 2 withheld number calls to land line, no one speaks & caller hangs up when I speak.
2 more such calls today. (never happened EVER before yesterday)
Just got txt from her THANKING ME for transferring the money. She did that yesterday with a simple "thanks" txt. That was before she knew my life was turning for the better with a job drumming for a very popular band!
Todays "thank you" txt is really friendly & chippa & even ends with Smiley faces!
Don't need it!

Moonie,
Now that this financial part is done, is there still anything that has to be done which makes contact necessary ?

Are you ready to close the door for good and be free?

Good thing Moonie ! Now you can finally let go of it all and start a new and improved life
For me it is the other way around my ex still has to pay me back for construction material for her house and if by tomorrow I don't get my money, (normally first days of the month, last promise was before the end of this month) I can write another registered letter to make her keep her promises. That way she can accuse me again of seeking contact LOL

Gosh, that must feel good. My ex still has some stuff here and his mail coming here, but I've packed what remains and when it's convenient to me (not to his schedule - that's a first!) he can come get it, give me his keys, leave a forwarding address for the divorce certificate (or not - his call) and be gone. Finally. I'm ready for that now.
I know it will be bittersweet and some days easier than others, but I need to get to where you are. Good work. And congrats on the job! One of my mates who has really helped me through this is a drummer, by coincidence... .
Enjoy that feeling - move forward!
