Why oh why can't they allow us to live in peace.  Since the divorce I still get the seesaw effect - one day I get a notice I'm harrasing her (), a few days latter she asks for nose spray that she hasn't used in 7 years and how I'm the best for checking, a few days latter I get told how horrible I am that I want to do teacher conferances seperately, then a few days latter she tells me how my next wife will be the luckiest woman alive. I let her live her life how she choses, I don't interfere in her choices - so why can't she just let me live my life in peace?

I'm sorry you're on the seesaw. 

She will not leave you to live in peace.  You have to find your own peace within the chaos she creates.  At some point you have to realize that all the things she says really mean little or nothing -- take it with the grain of salt - and move on about your day.

I'm sorry you have kids with her because it means the connection to her will never really go away.  But... .that IS a fact.  So... .you have to figure out how - within yourself - to neutralize her and all of the stuff she says.

It's hard... .but you'll do it!

Because they don't live in peace.

As far as the see-saw, it kind of reminds me of some squirrels crossing the road in front of a car.  Some can't decide.  They go back/forth and we all know what happens sometimes.
