My 16 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, and antisocial personality disorder.  She's had problems her whole life so it's nice to finally have those answers but with all three disorders it makes it hard to know how to respond to her.  I guess I'm just new to this and I'll figure it out as I read more information.  As I've studied BPD so far, it's been so nice to feel the weight lift off of me, to know I'm not all the things she claimed I was for these last several years.  It's nice to know I'm not alone in my suffering, but I am sorry for all of you who have had to suffer with these similar things. It's been so hard.

Hello Lambybear and welcome to BPDFamily  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

It is so hard and I agree making sense of and understanding what we are dealing with comes first, and the change we can make. The resources are here.

How did your DD (dear daughter) receive the diagnosis, was she accepting?
