Damn right, you go girl. A handy distinction is counter-intuitively that a BPD mirrors us to make
themselves feel better, they do it because they don't exist as a 'self' on their own, they need to attach, and so they attach to the good they see in us to combat the bad they consider themselves to be, in the endless battle between their ears.
A byproduct of that is when we get our good mirrored back to us, we fall in love with it without realizing we're looking in a mirror, because it's what we've always wanted, from others yes, but mostly from ourselves, and the good news is we already have it, our BPD saw it, showed it to us, and liked it so much they assimilated it as their own.
So what we fell in love with was US. How cool is that?
