About 1,5 years ago I had a relationship with a BPDgf waif. When we dated she was a passionated lover, and when we broke up she became a raging hater. After the breakup she told me that she never wanted to see my again. So I stayed away from her, but I felt really bad about the terrible breakup for a long long time. A while ago I met her again at an event - and she knew that I was coming - but this time she was shy, quiet, stiff and almost inhibited. It felt like meeting a totally different person. Meeting her again really defused the situation with her.

When I look back at the first time we met, I remember that she was very shy and quiet then as well. But at that time I was falling in love with her, so I approached her, she became more open, later a passionate lover, and finally a raging hater.

My friends have always seen her as very shy and quiet all the time, and now I see what they mean. Most likely she suffers from social phobia when meeting with people that are not close to her. And this is the behaviour I am seeing 1,5 years after the breakup.
