I am meeting with my kids pediatrician today since I have been left out by my ex. We are divorcing and I no longer find out about any medical information. Any advice as to what to ask?

Review the medical records, ask about check ups, doctor's recommendations, are they being followed by ex-?

Any prescriptions they are on or have been on.

Next scheduled check ups?

Can they put a note in your file to call you when she makes an appointment?

Who provides kid's insurance?  If you, note in file to call you for each appointment prior to visit to verify insurance?

Also, I had an incident where S9 was taken in for some specific issues.  Due to timing, he'd been sick with me, but time switched to her time, and she then lied about issues to doc.  I had emails between her and I about issues, and then doc's noted down totally different issues.  I had a work mtg I had to be at so couldn't attend doc visit, but followed up later that day, got copies of doc's/nurses notes about what she said, etc.  Then got their notes from what I said, got over the phone type doc's recommendations for the real issues, documented the whole thing in S9's medical files.

Do you have any court orders?  If so, take a copy of the orders and have it placed in your kids' files.  That way the docs always have documentation of your parental rights.  If she tries to cut you off anymore, document that too.  Notify her in writing that you expect her to notify you when she's taking the kids in, and you will do the same.  She might not follow through, but you're establishing your desire to be involved and her blocking your involvement.
