You are only paranoid if your wrong...

I read this today and it hit me pretty hard.
I now have a restraining order against my ex and my son because I am officially dangerous to them. I know my ex is extremely dyregulated right now. I don't think she realized the repercussions of her running off with a guy 8 years older than her, leaving my son at her mom's, alienating me, and maybe, MAYBE, realizing that what she thought she may have with her new guy is just not there?
Anyway, her dad told me that she was extremely paranoid that I would show up at her work or at a place where her and her new man may be out and that she was really just paranoid... . I haven't called or contacted her in about 6 weeks. I don't even care to to tell you the truth, but the title of this thread really hit me today. I believe she knows everyone (all the soccer moms she WAS friends with) are all now talking about her, and finally seeing my side.
I do not talk about her, but I live in a very small suburb outside a major city, and well... . people talk. I know she must feel awful for what she's doing to my son, and probably doesn't know which end is up... .
So, a day after being served with a restraining order, I am again at peace, and actually feeling a little sorry for her. It is TRULY a shame that deep down inside she is really paranoid because she knows she is wrong. Just sucks that they are so impulsive and lack total control of their actions... .
