No contact for almost 9 weeks. He did text me but I did not reply. It was so difficult to ignore him, but I did. These boards have been a great help to me. I keep reading and reading and taking inspiration and support from others
Good luck everyone

8 weeks out. 4 days NC. Told her to never contact me again. In the past, 6 days was the maximum lenght of time before one of us broke NC. I hope we can pass it now.

5-1\2 months since end of 3 year relationship
5 months NC. Only had the urge to contact her one drunk night. Good thing I was too trashed to use the phone.
Lots of therapy. Still good days and bad. Intense pain is gone but it still hurts some days. I would have never thought it would take this long. Still no urge to have sex or date. Pathetic really. She just isn't all that. The biggest problems still are learning to love myself and forgiving myself for staying in a messed up relationship. Also, fearing that I will never experience the intense love I felt at times.

It's been over a month since I have heard anything from my exuBPDgf. I did try to text her a week ago, but have had absolutely no response. Last we had talked, the day after she broke up with me, she'd said "we'll talk soon". I know I have to detach, but I want to hear from her so badly... .

Well it was some day in November, and yes, I had two martinis too many.
I have avoided alcohol like the plague since then. Yea, there is no way I am going to reach out to him again. Not unless I want to spend another nine days in the hospital.

After the NYE debacle, I stayed NC for two weeks, then her birthday came around. Thought I'd be able to stay strong, but I ended up calling her, to wish her a happy birthday. She invited me to join her and some friends for lunch and a few drinks, which I did, but I only stayed for about an hour as it was clear she intended to get drunk.
The following day, I ran into someone who'd stayed for the duration, and she said that I'd been wise to leave when I did, as it had become "painful to watch".
I haven't called or texted her since. She texted me one Saturday morning telling me her housemate was away for the weekend, but I didn't take the bait.
