I have been away from bpdfamily for a year almost now. Trying to move on with my life and forget the past. However once in a while I have dreams about my exBPDgf. Its been almost two years now, I'm still single. She happens to be married, and currently pregnant, if found out through my sister who was once her friend. I just am not sure why I keep having very random dreams about her and they don't happen but once every couple months. Just dreams about her in general and like I can't reach her anymore. Please help... .  its no fun.

Not to make light of it, but I've had dreams of pets, old bosses, my second grade classroom. Old girlfriends too. People and places that meant something to us, that we felt connected with, will show up in the mind whether we're sleeping or awake.

Do you think it has to do with unfinished business?

I'd feel EXTREME relief to know she was pregnant with someone else. It hurts at first but god you do NOT want her baggage AND someone else's baby.

You can't possibly want her back now. The break is complete. Take a sigh of relief!

Before I saw this I said this out loud. Unfinished business. Our dreams I believe our our way of working things out.

I think you are probably still processing it. It was a trauma. Hopefully if you try to forget and move on it will fade in time. I imagine that the fact that she is married and having a baby hasn't helped. As if she is normal and what you experienced was somehow you. IT WASNT! I think this is all normal unfortunately what you are experiencing.

I wish you all the best. It sucks I know but what I try to do as hard as it is, is try to picture what I want my life to be and move towards making that happen.

Yeah, its just tough knowing that what she currently has is what I was wanting for her and I. She got married three months after her and I broke up and well I'm still single and can't seem to get past that. The dreams tend to make my day horrible for the most part. I don't think of her during the days unless I hear a old song that reminds me of when I was with her. However I then change the station rather quick. Just wish I was able to forget like I have with previous break ups.
