Tears of Joy
«

I was traveling these last couple of weeks. I've been separated for a year, and this was my first untethered trip. I found myself near (if not in) tears because I was so happy. I had such a great time, not catering to his every wish and command that I used to in order to keep the peace. I think this was the first vacation in decades that really was a holiday. I think I met true happiness. I need more of that. Now I know I can get there from here.

Were you traveling by yourself or with friends/family?
Personally, I love traveling on my own. No compromise, just go with what floats your boat.

I traveled with my daughter(18) and visited my brother and sister-in-law. With side trips to the beach and national parks that were on my bucket list. I've not tried traveling alone yet... . more to come.
