Today is when the movers are scheduled to show up to move her. She seems happy and has been since she signed the lease papers. Very amicable. Very strange to me.

My heart is heavy, I am sad, very sad.

This really hurts bad.

I am struggling with myself having thoughts and images of who I "imagined" her to be. My beautiful fun and loving wife. The embellishments are taking over my thoughts.

How do you get passed this? It HURTS!

And I understand the struggle ... . We do think they are who we see in good times . That's a hard one to grasp ahold of.

Hi SKyDancer,

This is a hard day. I remember the day, that I moved my wife and kids out. I was shell shocked. I'm sorry about what you are going through, it's so hard to deal with.

I found the strength to get through the day. The empty house, kids out, empty rooms was something else.

Do you have family members you can call? Do you just need time by yourself to process this and not be around people? I spent time by myself for a week, I recognized that I was going through a life event.

Hang in there.

I've been there before... . We both moved out of our apartment together a year and a half ago... . We got back together but then obviously that ended as well... The move out was the hardest most surreal part... . My advice if you can move do so!
