Before you can make things better, you have to stop making them worse... Have you considered that being critical, judgmental, or invalidating toward the other parent, no matter what she or he just did will only make matters worse? Someone has to be do something. This means finding the motivation to stop making things worse, learning how to interrupt your own negative responses, body language, facial expressions, voice tone, and learning how to inhibit your urges to do things that you later realize are contributing to the tensions.

If we went to a dance, and i was either to tired to dance or didn't feel like doing so, my exBPDgf would go onto the dance floor and dance all alone by herself.

Did anyone else experience this behavior from there exBPDgf?

You're probably being a little too specific to get many replies to your question.

Most women I know would go on the dance floor and dance if I didn't dance or didn't want to. Some people enjoy dancing at a dance club.  Smiling (click to insert in post)

On top of that, I noticed intense dissociation when dancing, even when we were together on the dance floor at some point I felt she's not with me nor with anyone else but rather she's mentally alone in her own world.  Empty, cold, dissociated eyes.  That reminded me of the insanity she's dealing with (and of course triggered a lot of love and affection to her, wanting to be there for her, help her, and be the one she can always talk to about these feelings and situation, even post-factum)

yes and it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The potential for pure expression of her inner beauty, cherish it.  I danced too.

maybe she is embracing her world.  Dancing can induce trance states.
