Seeing another thread made me realize our birthdays are coming up.  They're five days apart, and we have always made a big deal making sure each other's days are special.  They have also been used as a reason to get a foot back in the door when on an "out" cycle.  How do I prepare myself for this?  I wasn't prepared before because I always held out hope.  It will take every ounce of strength I've gained to resist being pulled back in and my own triggers of not wanting to feel like a big jerk when I say that I can't participate this year.  I'm all he has, really.  Hopefully our child will suffice to celebrate with this year.
