Meeting/Reconnecting online and when did devaluation begin?

I'm curious if anyone met or reconnected with their expwBPD online and what happened when you met face to face? When did the devaluation begin?

We reconnected online and talked for several weeks before meeting in person. Everything was wonderful, he was super attentive and we'd either text or talk all day, everyday. Things went down hill IMMEDIATELY once we met in person, within half an hour he was saying things like "you don't like me as much as you thought you'd like me, I can tell" and when in person, it was as if he could care less that I was there.

Anyone have similiar experiences where there "hype" (i.e. the talk and text) didn't transfer once you actually spent time together?
