Update on her condition...

So she called me after therapy today and let me know that apparently she OVER qualifies for BPD and is actually much closer to Multiple Personality Disorder. Yet to know what that means for her treatment, or for what to expect. I don't think it's quite the way it's portrayed in media. She says right now she is aware and knows the things she did were horrible and can't understand or recall why she would even do them, but she feels like it's always slipping and she's trying to hold onto that frame of mind because when it's gone she doesn't know how to get it back.

MPD is serious stuff. On the other hand taking some responsibility and owning her actions is positive and way better to what I got back from my high functioning xBPDgf who has been on therapy for 10 years but apparently it is me who has issues.

I wish it lasted longer. We went 3 days without drama and now we're right back in it. I want to be compassionate and patient but it's wearing thin.

It is not going to get much better any time soon buddy. One has the option of either accepting that and staying fully aware of the repercussions or leaving and going NC or LC.

I feel you pain mate, its just like dealing with a Ghost that will vanish at anytime :'(... To be honest I rather be addicted to a drug than to this... .It makes me feel so broken inside out and hearing stories form members its a never ending cycle unless you go NC. BUT its so hard to do even though you know you will be hurt, its sad having to
... .Please be strong and do the best for you
