Hi SlyQQ,
There's a lot going on here. Is this about the girl approaching 18 you mention in your earlier post that you're taking care of who you believe is almost certainly BPD?
Was her boyfriend's accident the reason the police came over? You say he fell asleep behind the wheel so I definitely agree with you that he's very lucky to be alive. How is he doing now? Does he also live with you?

How long has she been using meds and do you feel like they helped her before? I believe she hasn't been officially diagnosed with BPD. Has she been diagnosed with another disorder and was she taking those meds for that?
BPD is quite a difficult disorder as you know very well but there are people who through hard work have learned to better manage their difficult thoughts and emotions and as a result have improved their behavior. For this to happen it is crucial that they fully acknowledge their issues and commit to working on them, often through therapy. Do you feel like she in any way has ever acknowledged her issues and/or would be willing to commit to therapy?

Hi again SlyQQ,
From what I know it (unfortunately) doesn't seem to be an uncommon occurrence that people with BPD get misdiagnosed as bipolar, if they ever get diagnosed at all.
How is she doing now? Could you tell us a bit more about her general behavior patterns that you find most worrying or difficult to deal with?

she has been fine but out the back crying today Psyche was going to ring me today about safety plan developed with her so we can call police if needed she is very probably co morbid the only slight doubt i have is if she is bipolar 1 though she fits diagnostic criteria slightly suprisingly psyche cut her meds for bi polar ( which there have been no signs of lately ) which sought of makes sense

Well I'm glad she seems to be doing better now. Also good to have a safety plan in place just in case. You might also benefit from taking a look at some information we have here for assessing your safety situation:
Safety First
How are you handling things yourself? I know that you've been through a lot in your life, not only this recent incident but other things before that too. Do you have any help or support to help you deal with things? Do you feel like you're sufficiently able to take care of your own mental and emotional well-being with everything that's going on?
