still confused

I have stayed away a few days to try and figure things out. My sister spoke to my ex on Tuesday  (found out she called him) he told her that he loves me thinks about me all day every day and after their conversation he text me friendly and causal only. He went to family court on Thursday for an increase in child support and I told him to let me know what happens. Since that day I have not heard a word from him. He also told my sister he wasn't in a relationship only dating someone. Seems to be more then that to me. Why would he lie about it and just start and stop texting like that?

If there is one constant with the disorder that I have found is words do NOT meet actions nearly every single time.  Does telling your sister he loves you and thinks about you every single day while at the same time "dating" someone else sound like words are meeting actions?

I agree with you. His reasoning for that is he thought I didn't care about him anymore. I guess that would be the disorder speaking again also. I didn't realize that until I just wrote it

I know you're torn, I know you love him, but if you want my advice don't let his words dictate your path or allow you to be stagnant right now.  If there are no actions matching his words of praise for you move on and realize he will not change.  They just can't help themselves when it comes to tossing around the word 'love'; it's always conditional and even that is fleeting.

Your right I am just heading for more hurt. I was surprised he even said those things it is completely out of character for him after a break up. He was stuck on I should have just married him.
