Quick synopsis... .after 9 years of trying to figure him out and contort myself to his moods to allow some sort of peace, I've finally left him, 3 weeks ago today.

I've not had contact with him but need to regarding vehicles and equipment there... .but I'm just not strong enough yet.

I've spent the last 3 weeks reading this forum and cannot express how grateful I am that you are all here.  He is undiagnosed BP but previously labeled ADHD and BiPolar... but I'm certain he is BP as well.

I have lost myself over the years--in tiny little bites, almost so small I didn't notice--until his life, his needs, his issues completely consumed me... and now I'm on a journey to find me again.

My user name was his nickname for me... because I was so good, so wholesome... .and painted white I guess.  Guess I'm burnt toast now

Its so helpful to understand what has caused the behaviours and get some insight into what is happening in the pwBPD's head. I am finding this forum great help too!

I consider this forum my lifeline at times. My exBPD too up so much of my time the last 8 years. He complained it was all about me. I am exhausted from the mood swings, the neediness, the demands and as Whitebread said, I need to find me again and figure out just who I am and what I need in my life at this point.
