When your SO wanted to end things? 3 years and I got the world's most lame text from the phone I paid for on the plan I was paying for.
"You deserve more than what I can give right now... .".

Yes... .almost 2 years in... .I got a text the morning after my birthday (which he didn't acknowledge in any way)... ."you're far too special to waste another minute with an ass like me."

After 2+ years... .a year after we became engaged... .3 weeks after she moved in... .I went out of town on business... .no fights, or disagreements (we never had them)... .in the morning the usual texts and in the afternoon "Our relationship is over... .I moved out... .don't try to contact me"... .she blocked me by phone and every other way you can imagine to contact her... . 4 1/2 months later and I have not heard from her or know where she moved to... .

After 9 years together. 5 years married. The text said 'i have bad news for you'. Eventually turned out to be the best news ever but it took me a long time to see that.

Mine broke up with me by text the first time. Then raged at me incoherantly the next time. There were many little break-ups in between I realize now but yes the two main ones he couldn't do face to face. Pathetic.

The first time she left me she moved out of the flat (after a little discussion regarding money) while I was out at work and sent me the following message: "Sorry boy, I can no longer take this. I left the keys in the mailbox". And that was it. Curiosly, she didnt block me in the social media. We recycled a couple of weeks after.
