Hi Naveah and
Where to start? Just tell us a bit about your situation. What's happening with your daughter? What's happening for you?
I imagine things are difficult for you with all that you mentioned in your subject. You'll find many of us here understand.

Hi Naveah,
Welcome to the board! How old is your daughter? My son turned 13 and I can't get over how much has changed in a year. Is it the same with your D?
You're in a good place here. People really understand, and I've learned a lot of tools and skills here that have helped so much.
Are you doing ok? It can so isolating to go through this, the feelings are hard to describe to others. I hope you'll let us know a little more and post however much you feel comfortable with. Dive in or pull up a seat, whatever metaphor feels the best

Hi Naveah
I'm a mom to a daughter, 18 who has been diagnosed with emerging BPD, odd, mdd and had psychotic features on occasion. She received these diagnoses (dx) between the ages of 10 and 13. Life was rough to say the least!
Happy to report that she is now a high school graduate, living independent from me and getting ready to enroll in her first college courses. We took a long car ride together today and enjoyed each other's company so much... .looking back 5 years ago I never would have thought it possible.
I look forward to reading about you and your daughter... .when you are ready.

Feeling overwhelmed with adjustments that are having to be made and now... .daughter has been kicked out of TRC program and I'm not sure WHAT TO DO or WHAT my options are? Due to her terrible behaviors, destruction, profanity towards nurses and others, tried to escape twice, etc. she was discharged TODAY AND I HAVE TO GO GET HER.
Please help and give me some ... .any ... .suggestions! because now they are saying its BEHAVIOR and I cant bring her HOME?

How old is your daughter?
So... .the RTC is releasing her to you and then telling you not to bring her back to your home... .? Where do they suggest you take care? Psychiatric hospital, acute care psychiatric facility? The RTC is willing to make a recommendation and help with admissions and transporting right?
Trying to understand... .

Hi Naveah,
This is understandably overwhelming, and probably not the plan you had in mind. It may also make it hard to take in information, feeling flooded with emotions as you try to navigate this. This makes it even more difficult. They are saying her condition is about behaviors? I'm not sure what that means. Did they offer other information? I hope you have someone who can support you and help you take in what is happening. Is your husband involved?
I'm not familiar with RTCs and how they work, but it sounds like they want you to pick her up, but not bring her home? Confusing. All I can offer is support and hope that they provide you more explanation and support as you transition to the next step.
