Hello room.  It's been quite a long time since i was here.  Just a testimony that i am doing great and have moved on with my life in a healthy way since the break up with my exBPDgf.

I'm going on 150+ days now; over 5 months of no contact.  Life is back in order and everything i felt for her has slowly faded away.

I have had no news from her.  I have not bothered to contact her.  It was hard at the beginning because we all want answers to "why", and if the relationship really meant something to them.  But with time i've let those questions go and my heart was able to move on.  I feel good again and ready for love when it comes back around.

This is just to encourage any of you who are just now starting off with No Contact and feel lost and empty without your BPD significant other.   Give it some time.  Give it at least 4 or 5 months.

Get yourself out of the house.  Take a walk.  Look at new people.  Get involved with new projects.  Live.

Remember, you have the easy part.  Their condition keeps them trapped in the same old cycles.

So if you have made the choice to get out from a BPD relationship.  I encourage you to keep looking forward and not to look back.  Take 90 days of no contact.  Then after that keep going.  It will get easier and easier.  Then just like that, you find yourself out of the fog and back into sunny days.

Thats how I think about it. I have wrote it her on the forum a couple times. People need to get themselves busy in order to forget about their exBPD. It's the only way to get over any relationship. Go out, have fun, start new hobbies, meet new people and who knows you're going to meet your new partner.

NC is only good for if you still have feelings for your ex, if you don't feel anything for your ex then it's not a bad idea if you contact them (for a good reason), because you won't get back to him/her doesn't matter what she/he tells you.

Here is an another tip if you're missing your exBPD. Just think about all the negative things they done, all the harm they caused you. If you keep this in mind you'll never want your exBPD back. Beside you you really want to have a relationship with someone who's probably is going to cheat on you, plays with your feelings etc. Everybody can get a better partner than a pwBPD. No going back for me.

Great post btw. I hope it's going to support a lot of people here.
