Well it's been a while since I've posted. I have an uBPD SIL. My H and I were staying with her for a while. I'm happy to say we finally got out of the hell that is her house. Things got so bad that we had to go, we knew they weren't going to get any better. And that nothing would end well if we stayed. I didn't feel safe. The things she put us through are unimaginable. Things I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. But to me it seems like her evilness is more than just her BPD. For 9 months she ruined our lives while we tried so hard to help her. I can't even explain for much weight has been lifted. We can finally breathe and live again. She is no longer a part of our lives. We decided to cut ties until she gets the help she needs, if she ever does. And hopefully its before she destroys whats left of her miserable life. I can't imagine living life so unhappy. I'm finally happy again.

Hi Smallville,

I gather from your post that you've been through some very difficult months. I am glad you are feeling better now though Smiling (click to insert in post)

Could you perhaps tell us a bit more about what you've been through in those 9 months that you stayed with your SIL?

You mention having decided to cut ties with her until she gets the help she needs. Are you now completely NC with your SIL? And do you feel like your SIL in any way acknowledges that there might be something wrong with her behavior and/or that she might need help?
