Rambling Rambler - Grammar and BPD?

Hi!
I used to post here a lot more, but now I mostly lurk and read other posts for support. I have a question that reading many, many posts over the last few years has brought up for me.
For those of you who receive letters and emails from your BPD family member, are they often gramatically poor, with rambling and racing thoughts? Do they switch from one thought to another mid-sentence? Do they frequently forget to use commas?
For example, my mother sends me emails like this (grammer and errors intact for illustration:
"Every once in a while [name] you show your true colors I really hope you were not speaking for the sibs you will never ever pay me back for all the times I have driven you. If your friend John was coming in and wanted a ride to [city] you would be so happy to pick him up. I am not so sad for myself but your Nana is is 85 yr.s old Be my guest show this letter to anyone you choose! It was also interesting to hear the venom in your voice because Im going to Cuba the reason is mom was worried going on her own but again you begrudge you are such a phoney!""
(Full disclosure: this was sent when I couldn't pick my grandmother up--I can't recall the exact circumstances but I was likely working--after my mother had bailed on doing it herself. She often makes promises to others she can't keep and then gets angry when we can't pick up after her (sigh).
Anyway - grammar and rambling - a common trait or simply poor grammar?

One thing I noticed with my exgf was in the begining her spelling, grammer and punctuation were terrible. Lots of ! Even some as simple as good morning was finished with ! As if shouting it at me. Once painted black it was perfect. I put this down to her being comfortable and not having to try so her dysregulation seeped through. Once painted black she put the mask firmly back on.
This is probably why they can hold down jobs as they are constantly checking themselves for cracks in the mask.
