In my travels on the net I found this article. Can this fit for pwBPD also?

In order to feel the control of their fate, NPD persons present a mindset of dominance in the interpersonal sphere. As a result of this authoritarian manner, persons with NPD typically have a record of numerous unsuccessful relationships”

Ive felt she has a bit of penis envy at times, just the way she carries herself.  Thought she was scared to show weakness.

Unsuccessful relationships encountered in narcissism occurs due to paradoxical behavioral characteristics where instead of behaving in a way to increase the chance of receiving self-object transferences in relationships, NPD individuals act in a way to reduce that possibility by destroying interpersonal relations.

It is evident from the literature that NPD behavioral characteristics reflect Glasser's “seven deadly habits.

Glasser's seven caring habits are supporting, encouraging, listening, accepting, trusting, respecting, negotiating differences and the deadly habits are criticizing, blaming, complaining, nagging, threatening, punishing, bribing, or rewarding to control.

She also has never owned up to any of her behavior.  Cannot apologize.

I may be wrong in my assessment, and thinking this is pwNPD.  I have been hoping to be a support and trying to learn the tools and gently guide her in the right direction but is this still possible with npd?
