I recently got an email from my ex and wound up seeing an old convo in my Facebook messages from her. She's updated her profile photo and she looks so much prettier! I don't know if its cause she's pregnant or what. It also bothers me that all of the sudden she seems so rational in her email and looks so much happier in her photo. I feel like this guy she's with knows how to be with her in a way that allows her to grow as a person and I feel so crappy I couldn't do that. Ugh.

It bothers me even more that pretty much every girl I've been with has dated me and then wound up finding someone better for them later. I feel like I'm gonna be alone forever.

Better? Says who? That's letting someone else determine your value.  You decide you're worth; she doesn't get that right.

Social media is personal propaganda.  You'll only see what she wants you to see.

Remember how happy she was when she met you?  What about now?  Be glad that baby isn't yours.

Hang in there, bud.

True. Only like 4 of her (probably best) and most dramatically different photos were the only public things. It wouldn't surprise me if she went as far as to take them knowing I'd see them. I think that + her email is a way of psychologically torturing me. I feel bad about it but I'm hoping they wind up breaking up.
