Hello, everyone. I'm new here, 20, Male, asexual, living at home with my heavily BPD mother and in a position where I couldn't easily find a way out. I do my best to be empathetic, and I'm fully aware that she has little control over her behavior, but sometimes even my best efforts aren't enough to keep myself sane around her. It's deeply frustrating at the best of times, and unbelievably painful at others. I've never had a chance to discuss this with BPDs or other people with experience of them, and I look forward to discussing the matter.

Hello Argyraspides, and

Welcome

I'm glad you are here! You will certainly find understanding from others with BPD parents.

It sounds like right now that you have to make the best of it while living with your mom. Are there any others in the household? What behaviors or situations are you finding most hard to deal with? I hope to hear more and how best we can support you.
