VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Just stumbled onto the following and wish I’d have found it several years ago. It describes my experience, to a degree (codependency)... .

Link: Why are codependent confused after breaking up

For the codependents, what I see often is after a day, two, after a week, they start to yearn for that person they fell so deeply in love with... .

There’s a "Part One" and "Part Three" that add little more.  Part Two in particular focuses on BPD and Codependency.  And if it's been posted previously, I apologize.

Finally free from my relationship and I’m moving ahead in life. There’s a lot of life out there and working on not letting ‘this stuff’ happen again.

Inside,

Thanks for the link. It sure did answer a lot of questions I've been pondering.

Curious, has anyone read Ross' book?

It's pretty good.

The narcissist and borderline in Rosenberg's presentations tend to be on the extreme ends of the spectrum, however, there is a derivation of much of what he says in people further down the spectrum. Its helpful.  Even if your ex didn't go to the extremes he points out, the root of the thinking is there.

We set the link to start in at 4 mins and 21 seconds - right at the codependency section.
