Hoping for support

I am new on this site and only started to seek out support after exhaustive attempts to understand my sisters both have various extreme of undiagnosed BPD.  I only hypothesized BPD after viewing a list of signs from my graduate counseling courses and receiving confirmation from 2 therapists.  I don't expect a lot from this site and know that majority of what I will receive from here will be educational and helpful in knowing how to understand and deal with my sisters.

Hi I'm new to the site too, and my sister has BPD. Just in the short time that I have been here I'm surprised by what I've learned and how generously people give their support. I hope you are pleasantly surprised by the benefits of being part of this group. 

My sister was undiagnosed for a long time, she can manipulate a therapist like nobodies business.  But, like you describe about your situation, I (and the rest of our family) long suspected she had a pd.  She is also an alcoholic and during a 60 day stay in rehab was finally diagnosed. 

I used to try to understand her, but I've given up that goal because I don't think it is possible.  My sister's behavior might make since to her, or it might just be reactions and impulses, I don't know. Not getting sucked into drama is my current goal, and even though I'm not sure I want to have any contact with my sister right now (it's been a rough few weeks with her and I want to make that decision when I am feeling less hurt) I want to support those who do chose to have contact with her, like our mom.

Are your sisters your only siblings?  If they are that must be a very lonely feeling for you.
