Hello,

I have a 18 year old daughter who has not been formerly diagnosed with BPT but displays all the symptoms of it.

I have done some codependency work and I work as a psychotherapist.

I am joining this site in the hope of joining a community of parents in the same situation as I am.

Hi, I'm also a sole parent of a 17 yr old d who hasn't been officially diagnosed. She has the traits of BPD. I also work full time. I Find it at times very stressful being the main carer. My d has just started taking lamactil for mood stabilisation, mainly for depression. She is also on Prozac. It's comforting to know that there are other parents dealing with the same issues and that you are not alone. Before I found this site I felt like I was the only one dealing with it. My d has self harmed in the past. She's been fairly stable for just over 12 months and is in her final year of school. Would you like to share more about your d?
