I know I shouldn't have but I looked at my friend 's love interest and saw they got engaged.  Every one here knows the feeling in your stomach. I feel it too. I sent him an email to wish them good lucky and to thank him for the good things. I am not sure how to feel, angry or sad. We have been through so much as friends and more and to have someone else walk away with him... .feels sad. I know I was the one who took a plane and left him,  but you look back at all we shar ed. .I want to be happy for him, but a part of me feels very sad... .

Mine got engaged a year ago on a trip from the U.S. to Europe while she left me with the kids for 10 days.  One of my friends who monitors her FB told me. It wasn't a surprise, but it was sad. Like a milestone from which there was no going back.

Hannover Heyes,

So sorry to hear that. I'm sure mine will come soon too.

Not sure how to prepare for that feeling. It must be really difficult.

And is now married.  2 good friends of the SO questioned the engagement because of his behaviour towards their male friend. And that they found out via Facebook.  He deleted those comments and van hour after that the status was married
