Messaged my new partner
«

So it's been about 3 months since my last post and my last contact with my BPD ex. I've established a relationship with a wonderful much more mature person and have remembered how to be happy again.
Last night tho my ex contacted my new partner accusing me of being abusive and that she should run. While I can see in retrospect our relationship had unhealthy aspects, claiming I was abusive seems ridiculous. My new partner seems very trusting and understanding towards me but I'm worried that this will harm our current relationship which was going so well.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Yup I have! My ex BPD FB messaged my wife whom at the time we were seperated. Asking my wife if we were still married and together then I should " back off" from her. I was sending my ex a few articles on BPD bc I feel she was misdiagnosed as Biploar. So instead of blocking my emails she went right for the jugular. She then sent my wife 8 min later another FB message saying the same thing just worded diffrent. I feel with your situation your ex dosent want u but dosent wAnt anyone else to have u either. With my ex all she had to do was either block my emails or just say thanks I'll look into it . She did nothing of the sort . So I feel she was fishing to see if I went back to my wife.

Hi Corgicuddler95,
How did your ex get in touch with your new partner? Can she be blocked? I wouldn't worry about your ex if your partner is understanding and trusts you. If she describes you as something that's not you to your new partner it makes your ex look bad.

Through Facebook so she could be blocked, I'm pretty sure my ex was drunk at the time as well. My new partner has offered to meet up with her to talk about it as well but no reply as of yet.
