HI Ive been  guardian to BPD 15 girl for a while.  She is very resistant to any help of any kind.  How can I get her join teen BPD group therapy?

We have been doing fam group therapy weekly and she sees therapist twice a month.  Thank you for your time and help.

DBT groups are what is recommended for BPD.  I had my daughter do these for a year.  I didn't really see her use the skills.  She wasn't motivated enough to change.   Our family dynamics were so ingrained and she was able to raise so much hell and didn't have a "stop" inside of her.  I think DBT is wonderful, but the person has to want to change.

Does she attend and not participate in group therapy or is she refusing to attend group therapy?

Thanks for your time.  She has agreed to go to a dbt group.  She says she is doing it for us.  We will see. Thank you again.
