Someone told me the other day when I told him my story about my ex gf that initially when I shared with him that she was there for me. But as the story unfolded he realized that in reality I'm in her life for her sake.  Maybe it's to pray for her. Maybe because she needs someone stable in her life who can be there for her if needed. Someone maybe the only one in her life who is stable that she can count on. I'm trying to look at it this way while trying to slowly detach.  It's hard. But I think down the road she will need me For some reason and I'll be there for her on some level I know. Sounds dumb but I have to wonder.  The saying people are in your life for a reason or a season. Maybe it's for a reason

Unfortunately I see no reason other than for that person to make or break you in some fashion, and in the end it probably won't look pretty when they are finished.   Everyone has there own of doing things and your doing it this way...   may I speak freely by saying it will get you no where but probably drive you to the point of insanity with her.  You are better off going NC and working on yourself...

I've been down this road and I'm on the edge of it again but with eyes wide open and knowing that it's not worth it, and how it will eventually end again is what keeps me level headed.   That being said, I wish you all the best  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)
