i think this is a bit of an over simplification. love for a person with borderline personality disorder is a great deal more complex than "puppy love". it is intense, and its very loaded, and its pathological, and its double edged.
we have all felt "puppy love" or infatuation, or had crushes. if youre trying to understand what love is like for someone with borderline personality disorder i suggest digging a bit deeper.
