I've been watching The Tudors that is now on Net Flix... , originally on Showtime 2007-2010. Amazing how awful King Henry the VIII was... .He reminds me of my STBX,   It's worth watching if you can stand it. I read that current psychologists would put him in the cluster b category if not an anti-social personality. A line in the show has the Pope saying, "The King thinks he's swimming when in fact he's drowning"  Very interesting... .Sounds like a pwBPD/NPD, doesn't it?

Chaos, drama, lies, raging, lack of empathy except towards himself, tons of mistresses and lots of wives always thinking the next one will be better. Changing stories and religion to suit himself. We have seen these people in history I suppose, we just didn't think they exist in our worlds.

Sorry to keep replying to my own topic, but I'm still watching. There is a scene where Anne Boleyn is preparing for her death and Jane Seymour is preparing to be with the king... , reminds me of our relationships ending and the replacements all happy to be the next person in their life. Innocent to what they are really getting into... .
