Bpdxgf text me today saying how sick she is and can't wait to die so her pain will end. Yep she's changed and happy with her new relationship. She was this way all through our relationship as well. Constant illnesses, aches and pains and misery.

Nothing I can do but detach and hope she gets the help she needs.

She's a hyperchondrac and histrionic and utterly hopeless.

Anyone else dealing with a pwBPD who exibits constant physical problems?

yes, yes, and yes.  every day he was sick.  mostly the last 2 years of the 9 years of marriage.  emergency room:  probably 3 times.  doctor's results each time?   17 pages of "normal" tests!    doctors visits:  i would say 100 easy.    3 times he walked to the nearby fire station, stating he was having a heart attack or close to it.   of course an ambulance took him to the hospital each time.   end results?  everything is fine.      he did not sleep much (nightmares, voices, screaming in his head kept him from getting REM sleep each and every night ive known him)  and i know that can make you feel like crap, but the answer is yes, he ALWAYS thought he was literally dying.  i acknowledged it and would give suggestions toward the end, but def. gave more sympathy at the beginning and he ate it up.  his voice would change from normal to "feel sorry for me" when he called one of his 5 kids.  an instant voice change!   once,  he had a fever... .went into bathroom and ran steaming water over the thermometer... .i think his temperature was 108.  whoops! now THAT'S 10 year old behavior. he was 42 years old at the time.  unreal... .   i take that back... .  it was all too real... .

I can't say mine was that bad in that way. He did have a high liver enzyme count and did not tell the doctor he drank so much. They even did a biopsy on him! When I told the dr  the truth, he was angry I know. He told him to come back after he was 3 months sober. My ex grabbed my leg really hard in the dr's office trying to get me to lie- I would not. He ended up in the hospital septic once... .not sure how that happened unless it was drug overdose from pain meds or anxiety drugs. Mostly he was cutting himself, wishing to die or ending up in rehab or the mental ward at the hospital. Gosh, I don't miss those days... .he has to be doing this now, doesn't he?   Mine talked in his sleep allot... .never knew if he was really asleep or not sometimes. His Dad said he always talked in his sleep- said horrible things. This is true.
