Today is the first day I've felt like myself since the breakup-- hopefully this is a harbinger of things to come instead of just the eye of the storm. Fingers crossed!

Yes it is a harbinger.  It starts with a few minutes, goes to a few hours and eventually a day and then more.  I am at the daily level now but will say it takes a lot of work and focus.

Thanks you guys    ! Today wasn't as great as yesterday, and I felt myself angry at her and ruminating again a bit. But not too bad, all in all, manageable, and worlds better than last week. I made it until almost 5 pm without checking her facebook (yesterday I didn't check it at all!) It's been 5 days NC.
