Still hurting from a false restraining order

I had to fly to another city.  Borrow money.  And go in front of a judge.  She lied about a sexual encounter.  I suffer from depression and this has still plagued me.

I dont understand how someone could do this and consciously lie under oath.  There was a civil order that was instituted and I am not allowed to contact her, but there is a part of me that wishes her well and another part that still wants her to go through the pain of what she did to me.
Charging someone with sexual assault is a huge deal... And there has to be some karma for that.

I am still hurt.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad that you decided to join us. It helps to talk to members that can relate with you. Having to appear in court for false charges is a very scary experience. I know because I've been there. Can you give us a little back story? How long were you together? Do you have kids together?

Borderline pain,

Of course you are hurt!  who wouldn't be?  But are you going to let it break you?  Make you bitter?  Let her ruin even one more day, hour or minute of your life?  Be mad, be sad... .get all those things out because a horrible unjust thing was done to you and there were no grounds for it.  Just don't let it define you, don't let the evil and bad seep into your being/soul/heart.  This is a horrible situation that you will overcome.  You will come out stronger and better because of it.  You have to believe that and move in that direction.  Make sure you have your support system in place, friends, family, therapist... .whatever works for you.  You are not alone and you can come out the other side smiling and happy.  Five years from now, this can be just a blip on your radar screen... .even a year or months.
