So, we all get intrigued when exes suddenly contact us, but I have a new one... .his Mother suddenly contacted me! Not in any real interested way though. I had sent his parents an email when we got divorced, just to let them know that it was final since they can't trust him. His Mother wrote me and told me that she respected me very much and was glad that I reached out. She said she would be in touch, but that she was really busy over the weekend. Then nothing. Today she responded to my email again saying that she just wanted to make sure I received her e-mail in response to mine back in June. I wrote her back and said, yes... .hope they are doing well. Now nothing again. Remember, there is a part of me that wonders if he gets this from her since they really have similar ways... .It's weird. It's like she just was thinking about me or wanted me to think about her. I am not going to over analyze it, but just wanted to put that out there to you all... .am I crazy or was that kind of strange?

Hi BH-

One option is to focus on the fact you sent an email to inform them of the divorce, because you thought that was right, she acknowledged she got it, so you met your goal, done deal yes?  What she does is what she does after that.
