Its been five months since I last saw my ex BPD. He reached out to me last night and I felt completely nothing. I was finally healed from the wounds that he left. If it wasn't for this board I don't know what i would have done. This board saved my life. Reading all the stories made me feel like I wasn't alone. I also learned so much and all the confusion finally made sense. For all those going through a rough or many breakups there is hope. I am now dating and I finally feel happy again. Im so glad my relationship with him ended. Its crazy to think that I stayed so long in that relationship. Its hard to see when you're in it how much better life can be. Im glad for the breakup and I'm glad for this board!

thanks guys for the well wishes. You guys will get there soon as well. What helped me was learning a lot about the disorder and realizing that a lot of the stuff i was blamed for wasn't my fault. I then started focusing on myself and doing anything that would make me happy. I started missing him less and less. Good luck on your journey everyone

First time I've read a thread like this here. So glad to hear a success story. Congrats, and thanks for taking the time to come back. Because of you, someday when I get there I promise to do the same.

Thank you so much for sharing your happiness.
I tried to date once since my BPD relationship ended and I felt like the whole I time I was just screaming "Baggage!" Needless to say it was a disaster and it was very discouraging. There are times it feels like I'm covered in scars and will never be ready.
Your message lifts my spirits more than you know.
