My wife was recently diagnosed with BPD. I am looking for support for myself and her. She is on medication prescribed by her doctor. I am trying to keep life normal, be supportive and stay positive. It's hard to do sometimes when they tell you they hate you and you need to go.

Hi and welcome!

Living with a BPD is difficult! There are many members here who make it work everyday. I'm sure you can as well.

How long have you been together? Do you have kids?

There are quite a few resources to help you make life better. I would recommend the book "Stop walking on eggshells" as a first one. Also search this site for tips on the conversational technique "Validation". We all invalidate our partners unintentionally - which escalates their frustration/anger. When we are able to validate - it helps them soothe, and helps you stay positive.
