My husband of 39 years has left me for someone he met 3 months ago. He has moved out and I am feeling very stressed. How do I manage my anger and hurt.he thinks this person is amazing and madly in love which hurts as I never got that attention. It's like I mean nothing and he is even ignoring his two adult children. My family is thrilled he is gone as they feel I now will have peace but it's pretty lonely without him despite not having to deal with his mood swings and depression. Never saw him so happy with this person which hurts me as I have always tried to make him happy. Hard to be happy for him esp when I expect he will divorce me and cause financial burden for my future. Am feeling so hurt, humiliated, rejected and deceived and fearful.

It's really tough to say based on the limited information provided. Does he exhibit traits of BPD?
I think you are jumping to Z before addressing A through Y in this circumstance.

Hi Meh1$,
I'd like to join
Warcleods and welcome you. I'm so sorry that you're going through this. A break-up with someone that displays BPD traits is incredible painful. I can relate with feeling betrayed, it's tough watching your ex happy when you're knee deep in pain and they have checked out on you and the kids.
Excerpt
How do I manage my anger and hurt
It helps to share that anger and hurt with others that can relate with it. You're not alone.
